Social Justice Comedy

I enjoyed the video on social justice comedy. While Negin Farsad was making a lot of jokes during the presentation it conveyed a message that I believe is true and could be impactful, especially with everything going on in the world right now. When people are laughing, there are less closed minded and thus more willing to listen and discuss issues and beliefs. Thus, getting people laughing and then hitting them with the facts in social justice comedy resonated with me. I was surprised that the subway used politics to decline putting up the posters even though there were no political mentions in the posters she showed. This video made me wonder what ways social justice comedy could be used in the world today and what examples are out there. If anyone has examples I would love to see them. Also, could late night TV shows like The Daily Show and Last Week Tonight possibly fall into this category at times?
